International English Language Testing System
An internationally recognized standardized examination called the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is used to assess the English language proficiency of candidates seeking to study, find employment, or relocate to an English-speaking country. IELTS was developed by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, and Cambridge Assessment English to evaluate a test taker's speaking, reading, writing, and hearing abilities. Employers, immigration authorities, and educational institutions all generally accept the test as a reliable gauge of a person's capacity for effective English communication. IELTS scores are given on a range of 1 to 9, where 9 is the highest possible level of proficiency. There are two variants of the exam: Academic for students aiming to go to college, and General Training for those looking to move or get a career.
IELTS Syllabus
The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) tests a different set of language skills. The two primary variants of the test Academic and General Training, have the same listening and speaking components, but the reading and writing sections differ in substance.
